Editing and proofreading are not interchangeable. To edit means to make a document ready for publication or submission. To proofread means to correct errors. On the Services and Fees page, you will find a list of the types of edit I can do for you and the fees those services entail.
What you get is a document that has been thoroughly reviewed for the issues that you identify. You get my guarantee that I will do everything I can to make sure your writing is clean and error-free. Every writer is different so the issues will differ, but the goal remains the same: clean writing that represents your best.
What I do is offer you feedback on possible changes in your documents. My 10+ years of experience as a college writing instructor have given me the ability to recognize issues and offer suggestions to resolve them. My job is to be thorough and meticulous, to make sure that I catch those issues that concern you most.
Getting it right.
